Do NOT do business here! One of the MOST unprofessional, terrible experiences I have ever had. Brought our Volvo XC90 here for service and they washed it after servicing which is great but when we picked it up we saw about 7 scratches all over the body. We believe some type of abrasive was in the wash brush or towels. The service manager (Michael S.) right off the bat was argumentative said they didn't even wash it which was a lie. Then sat there and argued that the scratches were there when we brought it in. We just purchased this car 5 days earlier and went through it with a fine tooth comb -these were NOT present. Then the detailer that washed it came out and said he would try to fix the scratches but at that point we were done with that place. I understand things happen but that service manager is the MOST Unprofessional Manager we have ever come across! We decided to bring it up to Alan Byer management in Syracuse since we got absolutely no where with Utica/Mike. Spoke with Stephen Byer and he said he would make it right and to come out to Syracuse location. Few days later my wife reached out and his tune changed, said they pulled the Carfax and said it was purchased a year

As a senior, who has made many new and used purchases of vehicles, I can honestly say that I never was treated better than I was by Dave and the crew at Byer. The car I bought was made certain to be immaculate before I took ownership. They helped me in every step of the process. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to visit Byer in Utica, where honesty and integrity is the golden rule. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give them a 10!

Love my Volvo and had a great experience at Alan Byer’s in Utica NY. Dave Blom was very helpful and extremely professional. Also thanks to Jacqueline Rutter for pointing me in the right direction. Very seamless transaction and could not be happier.

High quality vehicles, very clean. Dealers were friendly and very helpful. Laid back with no pressure. They can also have cars transported from their Syracuse office for you to test drive.

I recently purchased a 2017 Volvo v60 Cross Country. I am extremely please with the purchase. Dave is an honest sales man who focuses on customer satisfaction. What sold me on the car was not only that it was what I was looking for. But Dave allowed me to take it on multiple test drives and attended any unforeseen problems that came with the car. The vehicle had 77k miles on it at time of purchase. Dave made sure to follow up with me after the sale to see if there were any problems with the car. Naturally there were 2 small things that came up. But he backed up his sale by having them attended to for no additional charge. Michael who I believe is the service writer, was able to get me scheduled even with my busy schedule. Lastly the atmosphere at Alan Beyer is that of customer appreciation. This is why I now fully understand why they have many repeat buyers! Thank you Dave and Michael!!!
